1、隨著我國(guó)高校辦學(xué)規(guī)模的不斷擴(kuò)大,英語教師嚴(yán)重短缺,大批非師范教育背景的本科生畢業(yè)后走上了大學(xué)英語教學(xué)的講臺(tái)。大學(xué)英語教師這個(gè)群體的專業(yè)成長(zhǎng),成了當(dāng)前高校英語教師發(fā)展的首要任務(wù)。教師的專業(yè)素質(zhì)不是生來俱有的,是教師在專業(yè)發(fā)展的過程中逐漸獲得并提高的。優(yōu)秀大學(xué)英語青年教師作為教師群體中的突出代表,其專業(yè)發(fā)展過程有著可供借鑒之處。
本研究以浙江省某高校的四位大學(xué)英語優(yōu)秀青年教師為研究參與者,采用質(zhì)的研究中的教育敘事探究,通過半開
2、放性訪談和課堂觀察等方法對(duì)這些優(yōu)秀教師專業(yè)發(fā)展的歷程、促進(jìn)和阻礙其發(fā)展的因素做了探究。
本研究發(fā)現(xiàn)這些教師們?cè)诔砷L(zhǎng)的過程中都經(jīng)歷了以下三個(gè)發(fā)展階段:關(guān)注自我→關(guān)注教學(xué)情境→關(guān)注學(xué)生。這些教師有著如下的優(yōu)秀素質(zhì):對(duì)教學(xué)和學(xué)生的熱愛;對(duì)外語學(xué)科教學(xué)能力的理解和追求;寬廣的外語教學(xué)觀;對(duì)教學(xué)實(shí)踐的深刻反思;他們這些優(yōu)秀的素質(zhì)也正是促進(jìn)他們專業(yè)發(fā)展的內(nèi)因。同時(shí),一些外部因素如教學(xué)環(huán)境的變化、同事間的共同探討、英語教學(xué)大賽的觀摩課和
