1、語言是文化的載體。文化負(fù)載詞是一個民族特有文化的集中體現(xiàn)。翻譯不僅是語言之間的互相轉(zhuǎn)換,也是文化之間的交流,因此文化負(fù)載詞的翻譯對于國際交流和文化傳播意義重大。然而,不同民族不同的文化傳統(tǒng)給文化詞的翻譯造成了很大的難度,源語文化負(fù)載詞在譯語中幾乎找不到完全對等詞。鑒于此,大量研究都集中在探討文化詞的翻譯策略,卻很少有研究提出指導(dǎo)翻譯策略選擇的原則。關(guān)聯(lián)理論是一個關(guān)于交際和認(rèn)知的語用理論,它為翻譯學(xué)提供了一個統(tǒng)一和合理的理論框架。關(guān)聯(lián)理論
2、認(rèn)為人類交際是一個明示推理過程,推理依靠關(guān)聯(lián)性。它還認(rèn)為翻譯是一個由源作者,譯者和譯語讀者參與的雙重明示推理交際,譯者擔(dān)任受話者和發(fā)話者的雙重角色。最佳關(guān)聯(lián)為譯者選擇翻譯策略提供了參考,也是評析譯文的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。關(guān)聯(lián)翻譯理論為文化詞的翻譯研究開辟了新的研究空間,提供了新的探析維度。根據(jù)關(guān)聯(lián)翻譯理論,歸化或異化都是實(shí)現(xiàn)翻譯的手段,只要能實(shí)現(xiàn)最佳關(guān)聯(lián)的翻譯策略都可用于文化詞的翻譯。本文在Gutt關(guān)聯(lián)翻譯理論指導(dǎo)下,以論語中的文化負(fù)載詞及其兩個英譯
