4、 self- control ability is seldom probed. At first， this paper reviewed and combed the definition and discrimination of self- control concept, structural composition of self- control, psychological mec

5、hanism, influence factor and characteristic of self- control development etc. And then on the basis of existing research, combining the structural composition of self- control, drawing lessons from

6、 classical “candy experiment ”, “ gift task “, it studied the impact on children’s self- control abilities of sports in field experiment. In this research, we have got those following findings:

7、 1、Sports has the positive influence on children’s self- control ability, and the longer children participate in sports, the stronger their self- control ability will be. 2、The time to carry on

8、sports only reaches a certain number of years，the positive impact to children’s self- control ability can be showed. 3、There is no prominent gender difference in the impact of sports to childre

9、n’s self-control ability. Overall, the integral level of girl's self- control ability is slightly higher than boy’s. The demonstration that sports activity is conducive to improve children’s s
