2、ary between the internal market and the external market is becoming more and more indistinct. With the increasingly fast development of the global economy and the continuous improvement of China’s international status
3、, more and more Chinese companies have expanded, are expanding, or are going to expand their business in the international market in response to the “going out” strategy put forward by the Chinese govern
4、ment. Under this special historic background, GSCQ construction Company made the international development strategy. This dissertation is going to establish a reasonable development strategy for GS
5、CQ by using the theories and methodologies of strategic management. Thus, GSCQ can grasp the opportunities in the market and overcome the external environmental challenge. First, this dissertation is g
6、oing to analyze the macro market environment of international engineering contracting, while considering the business of Chinese companies in the international market and the related policies of the Chinese government,
7、so that the necessity and rationality for GSCQ to exploit the international market can be confirmed. Second, aiming at the Angola engineering contracting market, this dissertation will analyze the m
8、icrocosmic environment of the Angola market with PEST method and estimate the construction industry with Porter’s Industry Competition Model in order to make clear the external factors for GSCQ to devel
9、op Angola market. Third, the VRIO method will be used to evaluate the various resources of GSCQ, including the financial resources, organizational structure, property, technical power, human resource and
10、 reputation, etc. Based on the outcome of the above analysis, SWOT method will be employed to judge the s trength, weakness, opportunity and threat for GSCQ to exploit Angola market. Moreover, the matrix o
11、f internal factors estimation and external factors estimation set up by Fred · R ·David is going to be used to summarize the results of the SWOT analysis. Finally, according to the conclusion of the abo
