2、ave become an important selection to international management for the corporations. The evaluation of alliance performance, which importance has been recognized universally, is an effective managerial tool to alliances.
3、As more and more international corporations have settled down in China, the Chinese corporations have established alliances with them in many different industries. The performance of international strategic alliances wil
4、l not only affect the development of the relative attended corporations, but also affect the continual development of our economy. As business management come to the era of strategic management, traditional performance e
5、valuation of alliances cannot satisfy the need of alliance management, and it must be reinforced to study strategic performance evaluation of alliances. This paper mainly involved the research to the evaluation of perfor
6、mance of international strategic alliances .Firstly it analyses the outcomes of the research about the impact factors and methods to the evaluation of alliance performance. Secondly, it expounds the basic thesis of the e
7、valuation of international alliance performance. Thirdly, taken the example of international Research & Development alliances, it established the indicator system and computing model for the evaluation of performance
8、. Finally the paper empirically testifies validity of the system by analyzing the case of the R&D alliance established by Ufsoft corporation and Microsoft corporation. Summing up the paper, the conclusions are as fol
9、lows: Firstly, the aims of international strategic alliances are multi-dimensions, so the performance of alliances should be evaluated from the following aspects: finance, marketing, customers, internal operation, learni
10、ng and development. Secondly, the performance of the relationship between alliance partners is relative to the development of alliances, so it should be involved in the evaluation of alliance performance. Thirdly, analyt
11、ical hierarchy process and fuzzy synthesis evaluation are suitable for the indicator system dominated by qualitative index in this paper, that could improve the evaluation effectiveness. Key Words: international strateg
