4、la has been an essential part for a big Chinese dinner. During the past 32 years, the CCTV Spring Festival Gala was welcomed and admired like never ever before by everyone, yet experienced some Waterloo defeats as well.

5、However, it is right amongst the applauses and doubts that the Gala grows mature, innovating all the way along. Looking back, it’s obvious that the theme of the Gala never changes much, but not the creating concept, thes

6、how’s forms, the stage design and the commercial operation, all of which make the veryhistory of the Gala one full of innovations and transformations in these four perspectives. Regarding this, starting from the changes,

7、 this thesis aims to dig into the Gala’s transforming path and morphological characteristics of different periods, based on which to dig out the real reason and significance of these changes, soas to form a clear and com

8、plete understanding of the developing of the Gala. And finally and hopefully, it can provide an example from which future variety shows could learn something valuable. Five chapters are contained in this thesis. The f

9、irst chapter mainly explain and summarize traces on the development of CCTV Spring Festival Gala. The second chapter, we explain changes of idea from national consciousness, emotional transmission and humanistic care. Th

10、e third chapter is the focus of this article. We analysis those changes from programme selection and programme form. The fourth chapter, we explain it from four angles for better understanding stage design and artistic e

11、ffect. Those angles are the space scenery, lighting and sound, costumes modeling and interpretation of digital technology. The fifth chapter is focus on the process of Spring Festival Gala commercial mode of operat

12、ion. We divided into three stages—non-commercial, highly commercialized and commercialization . From the analysis of those changes on creative ideas, program form, stage design and commercial operation, we can see hi

13、storical background ,ideology and technical factors hidden in every transformation period by Spring Festival Gala.Finally a conclusion shapes: it is necessary for the Gala to simplify and return to itself, to orient arou
