4、hich adpoted the Likin System and its Likin System was the mostly developed. The commodity market in Jiangsu was the most developed and Jiangsu also owned the largest port Shanghai with lots of commercail cities and town

5、s. Thus, the relationship between the Likin System and the commodity market in Jiangsu is the most close and distinct. This paper tells the buit up, the development, the consummation of Likin System in Jiangsu as well as

6、 its close relationship with the Jiangsu commodity market during the year of 1853 and 1911. Then based on this relationship, the author deduces the characters of the Jiangsu commodity market from the characters of Likin
