2、hy of Martin Heidegger to modify and “purify” the classic psychoanalysis of Sigmund Freud theoretically and therapeutically, hence formed the Daseinsanalytic School in psychology and psychiatry. The methodological founda

3、tion of Daseinsanalysis is phenomenology, a method which need not make any epistemologcial and ontological presupposition before the investigation, hence can reveal the essence of phenomena especially the content and mea

4、ning of human being effectively and immediately. By adopting the phenomenology method, Boss proposed his basic daseinsanalytic theory by elucidating the nature of being-in-the-world and other existentialias of human bein

5、g. With regard to the classic psychoanalysis, Boss did not negate it as a whole. His strategy is: on one hand, attacking the “metapsychology” and neurosis theory of Freud; and on the other, confirming Freud’s immediate i

6、nsights toword man in the process of therapy, and pointing out the similarities between these insights with the theory of daseinsanalysis. Based on the daseinsanalytic understanding of man and the phenomenology method, B
