8、tant god. In the local legend about Shengmu appeared most. The paper want to solve two problems: the people to cause confusion Jiaomu and Bixia Yuanjun and a Buddism godness Guanyin empress. In addition, Jiaomu temple an

9、d Zhongmiao is in confusion. This are benefit for people to explore the reasons of local belief change. In this paper, through the field investigation method and compared the literature: first, the main faith is She

10、ngmu ,so it is easy to bring about Jiaomu, a Buddism godness Guanyin legends are attached to their Shengmu on the body. Especially in the manifestation of legend, people is even more so, to confuse Jiaomu, Shengmu, Buddi

11、sm godness Guanyin three goddess. So generally call them as “Niangniang“. Secondly, Jiaomu temple on Chaohu Lake Island Laoshan, while the Zhongmiao in Chaohu west side of Phoenix of rocky, both geographical position det
