2、u (貴無(wú))theory was generated in the Wei Jin era when the political battle and social contradictions were increasingly fierce. It always involve the philosophical problem about cosmic ontology and hominine inbeing, but the

3、idea of ontology can be called the most basic characteristic of Wei Jin Xuan Xue （魏晉玄學(xué)） . Noumenon is not in Wei Jin Xuan Xue, but the idea of Wang Bi who is the founder of Wei Jin Xuan Xue hads “Regard Wu(無(wú)) as the ess

4、ence” and “Regard Wu as the noumenon”. Being one of the initiator of the Wei Jin Xuan Xue, Wang Bi had his own theories innovation while Inherited for the thoughts of Confucian and Taoists. He thought the creation is uni

5、fy in a common essence which is called “Wu”. Because of this essence the reason that the creation of world can exist, and varied creation of the world is the performance of this essence. This is so-called “The world crea

6、tion all take have no as originally”. However, emphasizing “Wu“ didn't mean deserting “You“(有). The core of Wang Bi's theory is Gui Wu. And starting from this ontological “Wu“, he implemented Personnel, State and

7、 other aspects to prove this proposition. From the ontology aspect, Wang Bi's philosophy was based on “Wu” but used for “You”; from the Personnel aspect, his theory used “advocating the noumenon while upholding the t

8、ip” as the core. Using “abandoning the shape after gained the meaning” as a methodology, “Saint understanding Wu”、 “Saint cherishing emotion” referring to State, therefore, Wang Bi's Gui Wu philosophy was not an Utop

9、ia idealism but close to reality. And Commentary on the Lao Tzu as Wang Bi's one of the most important books, embodied his Wu basic ideological core by his creative interpretation of Lao Tzu. This paper will trace th

10、e meaning of Wu which had talked about by previous investigator, from Wu and You to start to cross-on Wang Bi's Gui Wu theory, then analyzing his theory from Ontology, Personnel and State aspects. Key Words : Wang Bi
