3、ge that new literature and traditional culture. He started writing poetry, and later known in prose. His poetry and prose creation not only reflects the modren consciousness, but also includes

4、 traditional culture. He participated in the process of poetry criticism, and improve his own literature idea. The example of Yu Pingbo is typical of modren literature.So after carding and study,

5、 the author chose Yu Pingbo as the subject of my thesis. A case study of the history Chinese new literature development on May Fourth.The research of writer and his works is the most abund

6、ant in the study of modern Chinese literature.The present paper is the inspection of Yu Pingbo’ s new poetry and prose carries on to May 4th, which mainly through detailed combing,examination,v

7、erification and analysis. Thus combs his ideological connotation and artistic personality of the new literature. The thesis, mainly by the “introduction“, “body“, “Conclusion“ and three parts. Base

8、d on collecting important material in his life, chapter one elaborates Yu Pingbo’ s new literature creation and activities during May Fourth culture movement,which mainly discussed the era background, fami

9、ly background and interpersonal communication ,and then how to put them which through ideological resource, cultural options and classicial literary accomplishment. Chapter tow studies Yu Pingbo’ s

10、 poem works and poetry criticism during May Fourth culture movement, and placed his new literary creation in the the special background research. This part the way which reads attentively by

11、the text, the selective analysis Yu Pingbo studying in his unique character related the new poetry. Second, regarding his modren poem criticism, and futher analyzes them to summon the distinct c

12、haracters. Chapter Three paper deals with Yu Pingbo’ s aesthetic style on his prose,which mainly discussed its’ rich lyric style, by further comparing Yu Pingbo’ s prose with those of its contem

13、porary“ leisurely”writers, and in order to illustrate the unique artistic style. It concludes that the cultural value of Yu Pingbo’ s new poem and prose lies in their independent literature spi

14、rit and positive value, firm and distinctive aesthetic pursuit displayed in Yu Pingbo’ s new literary crration is of historical value and enlightening value to contemporary criticism circle. Key
