1、本文旨在通過圖式理論指導下的教學方法提高中學生英語閱讀的能力。一些老師和學生想方設法地強化詞匯和語法、掌握疑難句型結(jié)構(gòu),以期提高閱讀能力,可總是得不到令人滿意的結(jié)果。幸運的是,圖式理論就閱讀理解卻有獨到見解:文字本身并無意義:讀者對閱讀材料的理解程度與他已有的信息、知識、情感、經(jīng)驗以及文化背景(即他腦海里己有的各種圖式)和文字的融合成正比。換句話說,圖式有助于閱讀理解,閱讀理解不好是因為缺少圖式知識。依據(jù)圖式理論,理解文章的過程實質(zhì)就是
2、讀者的背景知識和文字的互相交融,因而,筆者在本文中提出,學生之所以不能有效地理解所讀材料,是因為他們不能激活相關的圖式知識。在中學英語教學中,若是要提高學生的閱讀水平,豐富學生的圖式知識才是上策。 本文由五個章節(jié)組成。第一章介紹本研究的目的及必要性。第二章描述圖式和閱讀理解之間的聯(lián)系。第三章根據(jù)作者的教學經(jīng)驗和實驗,分析了圖式理論在閱讀教學中的積極作用。第四具體論述了如何運用圖式理論指導閱讀教學。第五章總結(jié)了圖式理論在閱讀教學中
