1、Among Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) image formation algorithms, the Chirp Scaling Algorithm (CSA) is suitable to form high precision image and the Polar Format Algorithm (PFA) is computationally highly efficient. They h
2、ave been practically used. With the SAR signal processing developing to the direction of high resolution and real-time processing, the error arising from approximations in CSA can’t be neglected. The thesis investigates
3、an improved CSA.We analysed and compared the performances of the basic CSA and the improved CSA. Simulations show that the improved CSA is effective.This thesis discusses the realization of the algorithms aforementioned.
4、 The live data imaging processing based on the TS-C43 board is successfully realized.Chapter 1 is the introduction. The history of SAR technology is reviewed. The application of DSP technology in radar signal processing
5、 is also introduced. The contents of this thesis are outlined.Chapter 2 studies the resolution problem under the Stripmap Mode SAR and the image formation theory of CSA.The thesis analysis two approximations in basic ch
6、irp scaling processing. First, there is the Taylor-approximation by neglecting higher order terms on range frequency. The second approximation is lack of updating the secondary range compression with range. The thesis in
7、vestigates an improved CSA. The performances of the basic CSA and the improved CSA are analysed and compared. Simulations show that method presented in this thesis is effective.Chapter 3 elaborates on the resolution pro
8、blem under the Spotlight Mode SAR and the image formation theory of PFA. The thesis introduces the practical realization procedure and shows images of the simulation and live data processing.Chapter 4 introduces the har
9、dware and software resources of the digital signal processing system based on TS-C43 board.And the program developing and debugging procedures on the system are discussed.The thesis introduces how to implement the image
10、algorithms aforementioned on digital signal processing system.The image replay based on TS-C43 board is successfully realized.Chapter 5 summarizes the whole work of this thesis and points out the problem to be solved in
