4、the stacking constraint, and a warehouse management information system was developed in this paper, in order to improve the overall operation efficiency in the steel stacking yard. Considering the stacking yard managemen

5、t problem, this paper analyzes the research status in warehouse input and management of steel plate stacking yard in home and abroad. And much more attention is paid to the steel plate stacking yard input operation optim

6、ization and warehouse management in this paper. The warehouse operation included input, storage and output such three stages in steel stacking yard. A stack choise for each plate as input was very important for operation

7、 efficiency in the steel stacking yard. The flow of steel plate management was proposed at first in this paper. And then, a mathematical optimization model with the aim of maximum space utilization and minimum crane trav

8、eling time was proposed, after a deep analysis on the input and output operation in the steel stacking yard. Meanwhile, a genetic simulated annealing algorithm was designed to solve this problem in this pater. And then t

9、he optimal solution was gained, with the analysis on the result of an instance data. On the basis of the work referred in the previous section, with the deep analysis on the requirement of steel plate management, we desi

10、gn a storage management information system for the steel plate stacking yard. This storage management information system could implement steel plate informatization. In conclusion, the research on the warhouse input op

11、eration in the steel stacking yard, and the warehouse management information system development in this paper, had made profound effects, and it was instructive and had good application value. And it also had good benefi
