2、p rapidly too. The traditional C/S structure of ship’s engine room automation system which based on Local Area Network in some aspects doesn’t adapt the requirement of development. Ship and shore can communication and pr
3、ovide remote access, which have become the development direction of the automation system of ship’s engine room. Firstly, this article analyses the development situation of the automation system and intelligent fault dia
4、gnosis technology in ship’s engine room, and then research the Microsoft newly .NET technology, especially does a detailed research on XML technology and ASP.NET technology. XML technology plays an important role in data
5、 transmission between different structure systems. And XML is the infrastructure while the data is transmitted through the Web. The technology of ASP.NET is the best development tool for the web application program. Then
6、 the technology of fault diagnosis is introduced, and a deep research be done on the application of the fuzzy theory, neural network and expert system on fault diagnosis. Though the analysis and comparison between their
7、merits and demerits, this paper educes that there are strong complementarities between them, and sets up the fuzzy neural network and expert system on fault diagnosis. Lastly, this article gives the realization of B/S st
8、ructure automation and intelligent fault diagnosis system of ship’s engine room by the newly .NET technology. With this system, the ship company and the customers of company could master the running situation of ship tho
9、ugh Internet at any time, and this system accomplishes the remote Monitoring and Fault Diagnosis of ship’s running situation. It improves the ship’s safe and automation level greatly. Key words: eXtensible Markup Languag
