2、l-8.5Fe-1.3V-1.7Si wt.%) reinforced with 15vol.%SiC particulates was prepared by muti-layer spray deposition technique.8009/ SiC sheets were prepared from the hot pressed or hot extruded performs followed by hot rolling,

3、The preparation processing of the sheets were investigation.The microstructures and mechanil propertiesof the sheets were examined. The phase component of the matrix, the regularities of the microstructural evolution and

4、 density of the preforms with temperature were investigated as well as the hot-working character of the compsite. To determine the microstructure, cracking, regularity, main component, and the second phase morphology in

5、the as-prepared material, optical microscopy(OM), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and x-ray are used respectively.The experimental results show that the phases in thecomposites a

6、re α-SiC,α-Al and Al13(Fe,V)3Si. The dispersion second phase particulates uniformly distribute all over the material with fine grains. From the SEM results, the main tensile fracture mode of the as-rolled after extrusion

7、 and as-rolled after hot-rolling at room temperature were intergranular fracture and sectorial cleavage fracture after hot-rolling respectively. The composite sheets were prepared by different hot-working processing and

8、the mechanical properties at room temperature and elevated temperature were investigated. The mechanical properties of Al-8.5Fe-1.3V-1.7Si alloy were compared with those of the composites. The experimental results show t

9、hat the hot-compacted composites preform followed by hot-rolling exhibited excellent mechanical properties. The averge ultra strength and elongation percentage of the composites can reached up to 540MPa and 7.9% at room

10、temperature, 272MPa and 5.0% at 315℃,163MPa and 5.0% at 400℃ respectively,which are higher than that of the Al-Fe-V-Si alloy are 466MPa and 4.8% at room temperature, 234MPa and 3.6% at 315℃,145MPa and 5.4% at 400℃ respec
