7、ethan1000systemsinstalledwldwideonawiderangeofapplications–inthechemicalpetrochemicalindustriesinbiotechnologyfresearch&developmentaswellasironsteel.Specificallyftheironsteelindustryduringthepast15yearsThermoElectronhasi

8、nstalledover100massspectrometersfgasanalysisapplicationsinvolvingthefollowingplants:cokeovensblastfurnace(BF)directreductioniron(DRI)basicoxygenfurnace(BOF)electricarcfurnace(EAF)argonoxygendecarburization(AOD)furnacevac

9、uumoxygendecarburizationVODfurnaceRuhrstahlHausen(RH)furnace.AdditionallygasanalysisbyPMSisusedtoacterisethecombustionpropertiesoffuelgasusedintheironsteelindustry.Thegasanalysismeasurementsarefasttypicallybetween0.31sec

10、ondpercomponent.Theyareaccuratetypicallybetterthan1%relative.Thedetectionrangeisfrom100%downto10ppb(dependingonthespeciesothercomponentspresent).Theanalysisismulticomponentmostsystemsinstalledaremeasuringbetween410differ
