3、he whole world. On the one hand, the world’s population is surging up rapidly which indicates the increasing demand of food. On the other hand, the world food production remains static in recently years due to the soil e

4、rosion problem and the reduced cultivated land. The GMO plays an important role in solving the world hunger issue as well as maintaining the stability of the society. For each individual, the safety of the GMO concerns t

5、hem the most, in this relevant, the government should establish a set of risk assessment system in order to tackle the supply problem and keep public health. Relevant laws should be enacted to regulate the research, prod

6、uction, and the marketing of the GMO by structuring GMO safety standard and permit process. The approval of the GMO salmon by the FDA marks the new era of the development of the GMO technology, but on the other side, the
