2、”, but the word of “Jing” originated from Zhou dynasty in the formal written records, It show that the capricious mandate of heaven. Through the transmission of Confucius and other Confucian sages, the idea of “Jing” not

3、 just an attitudes of awe to “heaven”, but also become a cultivation with the art of respect. To the Song period, Mind Cultivation was more attention for everyone. So the idea of “Jing” was more attention for Neo-Confuci

4、an. Through the transmission of Chengyi and Chenghao to Daonan School and Huxiang School to Zhuzi, and Zhuzi made his own School. Following Chenghao and Chengyi, from Beisong dynasty to Nansong dynasty, the theory of art

5、 of respect was handed down along two lines: The one was the line advocating quiet from Yangshi through Luocongyan to Litong. This one was “realize no stirring”. The other was the line advocating act from Huhong to Zhang

6、shi. This one was “experience of stirring”. Zhuzi evolved his theory of the art of respect, which epitomized the Confucian idealist philosophy. The idea of “Jing” was became a very important position. And Zhuzi defined “

7、Jing” as the domination of the mind-heart and the root of all things. He interpreted “Jing” as awe. How did we manage to “Jing”, It was “convergence”, “concentration”, and “keeping serious”. The ides of “Jing” was not is

8、olated in Zhuzi’s system of philosophy. It contacted with other philosophy category, such as “sincerity”, “concentration”, “harmonious”. They constituted Zhuzi’s theory of human nature cultivation. The main methods of Zh

9、uzi’s human nature cultivation were self-restraint with awe and improving learning with the extension of knowledge. On the relation of the art of respect and the extension of knowledge, Zhuzi had the statement that the e
