2、y year. Of which about one-third of the deaths occurred in the process of vehicle crash barrier. Therefore,the research in this field plays an important role in reducing the number of the road accidents. In this paper, t

3、aking a medium bus produced by a bus company in Nanjing and the w-beam semi-rigid guardrail as the research objects, the safety of the impact between the carriage and the guardrail are analyzed. Mainly done the following

4、 aspects: Firstly, it introduces the basic idea of the finite element method and the common methods of the vehicle crash safety analysis,furthermore it gives a brief introduction of the content of the subject. Second,

5、introduced with a number of kinetic theoretical knowledge on relevant topics, and do a thorough introduction of the theoretical equation, hourglass control and calculation of friction the paper covered. Thirdly, a

6、ccording to the features of safety analysis of vehicle crash barrier, The “carriage-gurdrail” FE model is establishmented based on the platform of Pro/E、HYPERMESH、LS-DYNA、LS-PREPOST and other software. Although some pred

7、igestion of thecarriage model are made in this collision system,but taking into fully account the shape of the carriage,geometry dimensions and barrier of the materials, connection methods and and the impact of the frict

8、ion coefficient. and make the carriage and the guardrail to achieve the grid size required to the collision. Finally, compared the rusult on the condition of different impact velocity and different impact angles and di

9、fferent friction coefficient respectively. To improve the safety of “carriage-semi-grid guardrail“collision system. The discussion of the improvement program of the structure of the guardrail and the carriage is proposed
