4、w. The first section overviews the story in “Lin Lan Xiang”from several aspects, such as the background of Geng Hall in “Lin Lan Xiang”, therelationship between family members and the daily life. The second section discu

5、sses thethree aspects of polygamy, mainly contains the history of polygamy, the reason of takingconcubine, the source of concubine.The second chapter content is to explore the male character —Geng Lang’s image in the“Lin

6、 Lan Xiang”. This chapter firstly analyzes two kinds of image of the family novels in theMing and Qing dynasties. That’s “without father“ and the “black sheep“. On the basis, GengLang’s husband role is positioned.The thi

7、rd chapter is to explore the patterns of husband and wife in “Lin Lan Xiang”. Thischapter takes a new classified angle about the relations between Geng Lang and his wives,including the loveless marriage that regards husb

8、and as the center, and the conjugal relationwhich doesn’t like husband and wife. This classification is based on whether wives areattached to her husband and regard her husband as a marriage motivation.The forth chapter
