2、ge research Abstract This article is going to discuss Wu mountain?s process of society changes as a significant component of Traditional national sacrifices though the research of Wu mountain?s cultural transition since
3、New China founded. Furthermore, the essay will discuss the “ Holy Land ” whether got a continuation of another kind of concept or not. The main body will present discussion on this issue by using the historical literat
4、ure and combined with field work. Wu mountain has played a very important role in the ancient national sacrifices because of its long history and advantageous geographical location. It was called ?Zhen? mountain since t
5、he Eastern Zhou Dynasty, reached the highest position in sacrificial system during the Sui and Tang dynasties, and lasted until the decline of the feudal state, on the other hand, this also reflects the ancient China fe
6、udal society's development process. Firstly, this paper will present a brief overview of Wu mountain?s history to show the important role in the ancient national sacrifices; Secondly, mainly introduce the Wu mountain
7、 in the field of development of tourism and reshaped its “sanctity“ by Taoism after the New China founded, also analyze the gaming process between them in order to explain the cultural transition of Wu mountain after th
8、e establishment of PRC. For the connotation of Wu mountain cultural change, the essay will start from the meaning of “holy land” to discuss the conversion between sanctified and secular in the very first place; Secondly,
9、 introduce the reason of this conversion since Wu mountain as a tourist attraction; Finally, indicate the cultural change after the founding of new China in analysis the relation between state institutions and cultural c
10、hange. Essentially, it is a kind of the interaction between institutional change and cultural change whether national sacrifices or civil ceremony, they regarded as a form of expression of cultural communication to int
11、egrate society and strengthen the order. The legitimacy of the ceremony depend entirely on the nation. For the new era of cultural reconstruction, it also will be considered in the frame of state and local social relatio
12、ns. In the opinion of the author, Although Wu mountain as a holy land appeared secular development to some extent, its sanctity still can affects surrounding area in today, and influence the human being around at the
