3、n Sages represented by Confucius made indelible contributions to the establishing of its moral status and the reconstruction of its moral connotation. During the Pre-Qin Period, mainly the Spring and Autumn and the Warri

4、ng States Period, friend relationship underwent a complex process. The friend morality had its flourishing era in the Spring and Autumn Period, however, in the Warring States Period, especially mid-late Warring States Pe

5、riod, it declined as a result of changes of epoch. In the time of various schools of thoughts and their exponents, each school had their characteristics on friend relationship and its moral theory. Confucianism has the m

6、ost sufficient and detailed description on friend relationship and formed a set of complete theoretical system, which is closely related to the consistent moral and political nature. Although with its main political ethi

7、cs of “universal love and interaction for benefit”, the friend relationship and friend moral theories of Mohism show a reciprocal association with those of Confucianism,and they have both similarities in some specific as

8、pects and fundamental differences, furthermore in the argument of Confucianism and Mohism, they have cross swords. Compared to the systematic and rigorous friend relationship of Confucianism, Mohism is more like a specia
