2、ities, and even can be comparable to the white suburbanization after World War II, which is largely concerned by lots of scholars. Many scholars believe that the 1970s is the “benchmark” era to study black suburbanizatio

3、n. But the black suburbanization develops throughout the 20th century, in the western and northern parts of America, black suburbanization and black great migration took place simultaneously. For various reasons, black s

4、uburbanization before 1970 is not extremely conspicuous, but after all, it accelerates stably, especially after World War II. Therefore, the article mainly studies the phenomenon of black suburbanization in the western a

5、nd northern parts of the United States from 1940 to 1970. It concludes the history of the black suburbanization, investigates its background, characteristics and the impact. The article consists of three main components:

6、 the preamble, the body and the conclusion. The preamble clarifies the meaning of the topics of this article, introduces the status quo of the studies on black suburbanization, and briefly summaries the domestic and fore

7、ign research results. The body of the composition is composed of four parts: The first part analyzes the background of black suburbanization in the western and northern parts of the USA. Starting from the black urbanizat

8、ion, white suburbanization and the intensification of the central city problems, it explores the background of black suburbanization systematically, pointing out that black suburbanization is a complex social phenomenon

9、and the result of the interaction of various social factors; Part 2 mainly discusses the black suburbanization in the western and northern areas in the 1940-1970 years, it states black suburbanization develops relatively

10、 stably and constantly using a lot of statistical information, although in this period, the proportion of the suburban black in the total suburban population accounts only from 4.05% to 4.8%, but the number of suburban b

11、lacks, after all, began to increase rapidly; Part 3 discusses the types and the formation factors of black suburbanization from two layers, that is, the original black suburbs and the spillover and the black middle-class

12、 suburbs; Part 4 analyzes the impact of black suburbanization mainly from two aspects, firstly, black suburbanization accelerates class differentiation of the blacks, secondly, black suburbanization increases soc
