3、ninJune2013.1.Scope1.1Thetestmethodsdescribedinthisstardmeasurethelateraldeflectionofaverticalinclineddeepfoundationwhensubjectedtolateralloading.Thesemethodsapplytoalldeepfoundationsreferredtohereinas“pile(s)”thatfuncti
4、oninamannersimilartodrivenpilescastinplacepilesregardlessoftheirmethodofinstallationmaybeusedftestingsinglepilespilegroups.Thetestresultsmaynotrepresentthelongtermperfmanceofadeepfoundation.1.2Thesetestmethodsprovidemini
5、mumrequirementsftestingdeepfoundationsunderlateralload.Plansspecificationsprovisionscombinationsthereofpreparedbyaqualifiedengineermayprovideadditionalrequirementsproceduresasneededtosatisfytheobjectivesofaparticulartest
6、program.Theengineerinresponsiblegeofthefoundationdesignreferredtohereinastheengineershallapproveanydeviationsdeletionsadditionstotherequirementsofthesetestmethods.1.3Thesetestmethodsallowthefollowingtestprocedures:Proced
