4、upofnursesassessedelderlyawaitingnursinghomeplacementanothergroupofnursesassessednursinghomeresidents.Thenursesalsoreptedphysicalpsychologicalwkloadsincaringftheseelderly.Acomparisonofthefunctionallevelsbetweenelderlyawa

5、itingnursinghomeplacementnursinghomeresidentsshowedfewstatisticallysignificantdifferences.Nursinghomeresidentshadtwolowermotfunctionsneededmeassistancewithactivitiesofdailylivingmeregularadministrationofenemasweremeoften

7、eofsadnessfearfulness.Theresultsofthisstudyindicatethatelderlyawaitingnursinghomeplacementcanbeasfrailasnursinghomeresidents.Theseresultshighlighttheelderly’sneedfassistancerevealtheneedfme2bedtochairwalkingduringtheday.

12、chwasastrongpredictofNHplacement.ThreeoutoffourelderlyawaitingNHplacementalsohadmemydisturbances.ManyNHresidents‘continuallysoughtattentionofthestaff’whichwascommonlyreptedinaNwegianNHwhereresidentsrarelycommunicatedwith

13、eachothercommunicatedwithstaffmainlyduringcaremealtimes.TherestofthetimemanyNHresidentstriedtoseekstaff’sattention.LimitedcommunicationbetweenNHresidentsstaffcanbebecauseoflowstaffinglevelshencelackoftimefsatisfactyconve
