1、USTC-CityU Collaboration Scheme,Graduation Arrangement,聯(lián)合培養(yǎng)研究生方案簡介 (附在取錄通知書中),學位論文評閱及答辯安排 學生完成論文研究工作后，要提交一份以英文撰寫的學位論文及一份相應的詳細的不少于一萬字的中文摘要 。論文的水平必須達致兩校的要求 (最新的要求請查詢城大個別學系以及到科大研究生院網站上的學位標準查閱),聯(lián)合培養(yǎng)研究生方案簡介 (附在取錄通知書中)

2、,科大及城大按兩校有關規(guī)定共同安排學位論文評閱。論文評閱通過后，兩校會邀請專家組成聯(lián)合答辯委員會 (Joint Examination Panel) ，為學生進行答辯。學生只須參加一次答辯（用英語進行），舉行地點在蘇州, 合肥或香港。5．學位授予及頒發(fā)學位 / 畢業(yè)證書的安排 學生完成兩校的課程要求及通過學位論文答辯后，可分別申請由兩校授予的博士學位。成功獲授予學位的畢業(yè)生可得到科大和城大分別頒發(fā)的學位 / 畢業(yè)證書 〈城大

3、的學位證書上將注明與科大聯(lián)合培養(yǎng)相關的字樣〉，并可參加兩校分別舉行的畢業(yè)典禮。學生必須先提交科大博士學位證予城大核實，方可獲發(fā)城大的博士學位證。,城大學位證書樣本,Graduation Arrangement,Residence Requirement“1+4” study mode, 2 years (for students who were admitted the scheme in or before 2014) / 3 Y

24、the Guidebook for the format of the cover, spine and title page.The release of stipend, even within the normal study period, will be stopped starting from the following month once the thesis revision period after examin

25、ation is due regardless of whether the revised thesis is submitted, or the “Reply Proforma of Recommendation for the Award of MPhil/PhD Degree” is received by SGS/Suzhou and the student’s status is changed to “STUDY COMP

26、LETED”, whichever is earlier.  If the student is unable to submit the revised thesis by the deadline, s/he may request for an extension for revisions from the Exam Panel.  If approved, stipend will continue to

27、be released until the deadline for revisions within the student’s normal study period.Student will not get the CityU degree certificate and academic transcript if s/he fails to submit the bound thesis by the specified d

29、ation via tele-conferencing device if they cannot attend the exam in person. However, USTC does NOT accept remote voting (遙距投票). In order to fulfill the requirement of USTC, there must be 5 examiners (excluding CityU &am

33、degree certificate to apply for the CityU degree certificate within 3 years after the end of their normal study period. This will give them a maximum of 8 years to complete the joint PhD programme. Students will be termi
