2、 environment because of the gradual aging and cracking of rubber, leakage of lead, while the mechanical properties of lead rubber bearings will be reduced. Therefore, it has a very important social and economic value to

3、develop the high damping rubbe bearings whose mechanical and damping properties is stable. The mechanical properties of high damping rubber bearings is related to a number of factors, such as strain amplitude, the vertic

4、al compressive stress, loading frequency, loading sequence and the shear modulus of high damping rubber which are researched in this paper. And then, the regression formula about equivalent shear stiffness and equivalent

5、 damping ratio changing with the strain amplitude is established. At last, bilinear model which is made by the hysteresis curve of high damping rubber bearings is also contained in this paper. This paper is based on prac

6、tical engineering. In order to know how the high damping rubber bearing works in the bridges, time-history analysis of isolation which is provided by the finite element analysis software ANSYS is used. In the analysis, t

7、he mechanical properties of high damping rubber bearings is gained by doing experiment. Then, another time-history analysis of isolation in which lead rubber bearings with the same size of high damping rubber bearings is
