4、 in Chinese historians'20 or 30 s, while both traditional and new scholars were involved with the discussion at the same time. In the process, Gu Jiegang and Wang Guowei, the former who overthrow the old ancient hi

5、story system, the latter who re-proved it, as well as Fu Sinian who stressed the historic data and Guo Moruo who valued historical materialism, then they had put forward their views and much of them were valued by the c

6、ontemporaries. Li Ji, as the father of modern Chinese archaeology, made a great contribution to the Chinese archaeology; however he also claimed a unique idea and method of the reconstruction process. He turned from ant

7、hropology to the archaeology to build a China's ancient history of Chinese nation and civilization though scientific methods of archaeology and interdisciplinary field of comprehensive method of anthropology, wherea

8、s the idea is considered as “l(fā)onely” in all of the claims. He praised highly Wang Guowei's view; however, their claims were seemingly harmonious. Meanwhile his idea was completely opposed with Gu Jiegang. Ten he alw

9、ays criticized Gu Jiegang who suspected ancient history and they had different view of ancient history, while there were some same points in different views. Meanwhile he has a common goal with Fu Sinian in the field of

10、rebuilding China's ancient history, if we carefully studied theirs views, there should be some different aspects. As for Guo Moruo, who was a Marxist historian and reconstructed ancient history with Marxist social m

11、orphology, Li Ji rarely assessed him, which indicated their thoroughly different. Li Ji was well-known for his archaeology and he had few achievements in the field of ancient history than in archaeology. As for the natur

12、e of the result, Li Ji was in the prime and probed stage in the field of ancient history, but he had two famous historic works, that are China’s Ancient History Reconstruction and Its Problems and Talk about the Question

13、 of Rebuilding China's Ancient History, which had fully studied ancient history in different aspects. In his old age, he compiled China's Ancient History and witted China's Ancient History Editing Keynote wh
