2、 thesis consists of four chapters. Chapter1. This chapter is used to trace the origin of social poems. As far as function, appearance, and structure is concerned, the social poems can be tra

3、ced back to the courtesy of Zhou Dynasty. The aim of this chapter is to offer a sound base for a better interpretation of the related features of social poems during Jian’ an Age. Chapter2.

4、 This chapter is dedicated to the introduction of function of social poems. In order to develop a systematic discussion, the method of cultural interpretation for understanding of poetry is ada

5、pted., which stresses that the understanding of poems should be based on the rebuilding the context of the poems. With a summary of the function of social poems, the relationship between social poem

6、s and literary organization of Jian’ an Age is supposed to be concluded. Chapter3. This chapter elaborates on the discussion of the literary appearance of social poems, including its contents, for

7、ms, and aesthetic features. Decided by the affects of the weakening of individual awareness, the specific expression of social poems features the reflection of such awareness of literary scholar

8、s during Jian’ an Age. Secondly, the style and artistic methods of social poems of Jian’ an Age is to be introduced , starting from the dialectic relationship between social poems of Jian[an A

9、ge and the aesthetic style of the literature from this period- - - - - - unshakable aspiration and dedication of Jian’ an Age. Chapter4. This chapter explains and summarizes the significance of so

10、cial poems during Jian’ an Age. Since these poems have developed a new feature- - - -integrating of aesthetics and social uses, the discussion of the significance of these poems should focus on
