2、n the field of education. Now, testing systems mainly takes the ways of selecting questions from database randomly and the questions’ selection has not pertinent, so it does not realize the testing of specific knowledge
3、points and navigate intelligently with the result of testing. The important question we should study is how to provide students with pertinent and personal test and evaluate the degree of mastering the knowledge efficien
4、tly and accurately in order to give them a reference of learning. Today the standard of learning object has been available and the study of ontology has got rapid development, then they all give the challenge and develop
5、ing chance of studying the testing and evaluating. Based on testing objects and domain ontology, the article puts forward a personal testing and evaluating model which is the base of the theory about personal test and ev
6、aluation. First of all, the model builds the semantic model to domain knowledge with domain ontology, obtains the whole construction of domain knowledge and logical relations between knowledge points; Secondly, it sets u
7、p testing objects by referring the technology of learning objects and applies the target category in the cognition domain to testing objective to satisfy various testers to evaluate the degree of grasping of knowledge; F
8、inally, it makes use of OWL to bind the concepts of domain ontology to the metadata of testing objects, by means of which, the independent testing objects can become semantic. On this basis, the testing and evaluating sy
9、stem can carry out the semantic navigation of knowledge points according to logical relations between knowledge points in domain ontology, and extract suitable testing objects to make personalized test and evaluation in
10、accordance with the metadata of testing objects, knowledge point and the action of tester. At last we developed a personal testing and evaluating system based on domain ontology of data-structure and testing objects. It
11、tries to solve the questions of specifying scope of testing dynamically, navigating knowledge points intelligently and selecting questions personally etc. The experiment shows that the system can solve the questions rais
