3、il sunflower has become a preferred crop for alters-alkaline land development and biological control of soil salinization. However, as a glycophyte, its salt tolerance ability is limited and exposes significant differenc

4、es among varieties. So it has great significance to investigate response of different sunflower genotypes under salt stress and identify and select salt tolerance of new varieties and material’s for explaining sunflower

5、’s salt tolerance mechanism and cultivating and selecting new stronger salt-tolerance varieties. This experiment used pot test to simulate salt stress, which treated five sterile lines under two gradients, four hybrids

6、 and three self-bred lines under three gradients. The test investigated changes and responses of morphological, agronomic, physiological and biochemical characters, sunflower’s salt-tolerance mechanism in seedling perio

7、d and the main indexes in salt-tolerance identification and selection. After comprehensively evaluating the tested material, the main results of tests are as follows: 1) Under double salt stress at seedling stage, all va

8、rieties tested in seedling stage under double salt stress indicated a decreasing of plant height, leaf area, dry matter accumulation, germination rate, chlorophyll content and K+/Na+ in root, stem and leaf while conduct

9、ivity, the content of malondialdehyde soluble protein, soluble sugar and free proline and the three protective enzyme of POD, SOD and CAT’s activity all indicated a rise. the physiological indexes differed as genotypes

10、differed. 2) Through factor analysis of sunflower materials’ seedling stage salt tolerance, Indexes such as POD enzyme activity, CAT enzyme activity, SOD enzyme activity, rootshoot ratio and dry matter accumulation can

11、be used as estimating indexes of oil sunflower seedlings’ salt tolerance 3) In the comprehensive evaluation of 5 sterile lines’ seeding salt tolerance under 0.37% and 0.51% of the double salt stress by membership functi

12、on method, the integrated rating of 5 sterile lines are all the same, which are in the order of 585A>217A>31A>25A>35A. Under 0.37% double salt stress, 585A indicated a very strong salt tolerance, 217A indicated strong t

13、olerance, 31A indicated tolerance, while 25A and 35A indicated no tolerance. Under 0.51% double salt stress, 585A indicated a very strong salt tolerance, 217A and 31A indicated strong salt tolerance, while 25A and 35A

14、indicated no salt tolerance. 4) The comprehensively evaluation of three self-bred lines and four hybrids’ breeding salt tolerance which used membership function method indicated that, in three salt stress treatment gr

15、oup, four hybrids’ salt tolerance comprehensive evaluation were in the first four and ranking in the same. The order was No.3>Neikuiwan No.4>K55×K59>K55×K58. The order of three self-bred lines differed as c

16、oncentrations differed. Under 0.22% salt stress K55>K58>K59, under 0.41% salt stress K58> K55>K59 and under 0.58% salt stress K58>K55. In the three groups under salt stress, Neikuiza No.3 all indicated a v
