5、riteriafhighIowtidalleveldiurnalinequalities(3)ThedurationdifferencebetweenebbfloodtidescouldberoughlyassessedbytheratioofHM4vsHM2thelargertheratioisthebiggerthedurationdifferenceisAtthesametimethedurationperiodcouldbeas

10、Zhaoeta1.1993)thepredictionisthattidallevelincreasesgraduallywiththetidalwavemovingtowardsabayanestuary.HoweverthevalidityofthistheeticalpredictionfsomespecialVshapedcoastalregionsneedstobeexamined.2MATERIALSMETHODSFtida

11、lcurrentdatacollectionusedinthisstudyfourcurrentmonitingstationswerearrangedaroundthecapeofChuanshanPeninsulawheresynchronouscurrentobservationswererecdedinmaxfloodmesominebbtides(Fig.2).Inadditionfourtemparytidestations
