8、rengthsupptafterexcavatingthetopsectionoftunnels.Thesignificantinterferenceofprimarysupptwithiginalliningsectioncontributedtothecontinuouslyincreasingdefmationofrocks.Thisconsiderablyincreasestheriskofinstabilityofsurrou

9、ndingrockmasswhenexcavatingthebottomsectionoftunnelsproposed.2.ProjectoverviewJinpingIIhyowerstationislocatedattheYalongRiverSichuanProvinceChina.TheJinpingIIhyowerstationiswellknownasasuperlargehyowerprojectduetotheultr

10、alongdeepburiedlargescaletunnelsection.ThefourparalleldiversiontunnelsofJinpingIIhyowerstationare16.7kminlengththespacingbetweentwoadjacenttunnelsisabout60m.Thetunnels24wereexcavatedbydrillingblastingmethodintwostepswhil

11、etunnels#1#3byTBMs.Fullsectionreinfcedconcretetunnelsupptstructurewiththicknessof50–140cmwasused.Theoverburdendepthalongthetunnelisbasically1500–2000mthemaximumdepthis2525m.TheWestendsofthediversiontunnels#1#2werelocated

12、inchliteschiststratuminthestakesof(1)1537(2)1613atthedepthofabout1500m(seeFig.1).Thechliteschistiscomplexfgeologicalconditionsfrequentchangesinlithologycanbeobserved.Therocksaremainlygreensstonegreensstone–marbleinterbed

13、dingchliteschist–marbleinterbeddingchliteschist.Theaccumulatedlengthsofchliteschist–marbleinterbeddingchliteschistinthediversiontunnels#1#2are264m314mrespectively.Theexistenceofchliteschist–marbleinterbeddingchliteschist
