2、ticscreeningacteristics1IntroductionScreeningoperationsareanimptantpartofcoalprocessing.Thevibratingscreenisoneofthemostextensivelyusedscreeningtools.Vibratingscreenssuchaslinearvibratingscreencircularvibratingscreenelli
3、pticalvibratingscreenhaveasimpletranslationalmotion.Themotionfollowsthesamepatheverywhereonthescreensothescreenhasconstanttransptvelocitythrowingindexwhichleadstolowscreeningefficiency.Augmentingthethrowingindextoimprove
4、breakstheexcitingmotsprocessingcapacitylowersthewking.Inthispaperwereptonthedesignofanewvibratingscreenwithvariablemotiontracesthatisbasedontheprincipleofscreeningprocesswithconstantbedthickness[3–4].Differentpartsofthev
5、ibratingscreentraversedifferentellipticaltracestheresultingmotionagreeswellwiththeidealmotion.Thusthescreenprocessingcapacityefficiencycanbothbeprocesswithconstantbedthickness.Thefeedendofthescreenhasabiggerthrowingindex
6、ahighermaterialdeliveryvelocitywhichmakesbulkmaterialquicklyperatecausesrapiddelaminating.Earlierlaminationofmaterialincreasestheprobabilityoffinegrainedmaterialpassingthroughthemesh.Thescreenhasanappropriatethrowinginde
7、xalittlehighermaterialdeliveryvelocityinitsdlepart.Thisisofbenefitfstabilizingfinegrainedmaterialsfperatingunifmlyalongthescreenlength.Alowerthrowingindexmaterialdeliveryvelocitynearthedisgeendcausesthematerialtostaylong
8、eronthescreenencouragesmecompleteperationofthemesh.Twomethodsarecurrentlyusedtoimprovescreeningefficiency[7–8].Thefirstistoaddmaterialtothescreenfrommultiplefeedpts.Thisistroublesomeinpracticaluseespeciallyintermsofcontr
9、ollingthedistributionofdifferentlygranulatedmaterials.Henceitisrarelyusedinpracticalproduction.Thesecondwayistoadoptnewscreeningequipmentlikefexampleaconstantthicknessscreen.Themotionofthenewscreensurfacecausesmaterialto
10、maintainthesameanincreasedthickness.Itachievesarathermeidealmotion.Themainproblemwiththeconstantthicknessscreenisthatitcoversabiggerareathatthestructureiscomplicatedhardtomaintain.Asimplestructurewithgoodscreeningefficie
11、ncyisstillanecessity.Wehavedesignedanewvibrationscreenwithavariableellipticaltracethatisbaseduponanidealscreenmotionfuseinrawcoalclassification.Thesizeofthevibratingscreenis3.6m7.5mthefeedgranularityis0to50mmtheclassific
12、ationgranularityis6mm.Ellipticallyvibratingscreenscombinethebasicadvantagesofbothcircularlinearvibratingscreens[9–10].Thelongaxisoftheellipsedeterminesmaterialdeliverytheshtaxisinfluencesmateriallooseningtobeexact.3Dynam
13、icsmodelanalysisofvibratingscreenwithvariableellipticaltraceWemadetheexcitingfcedeviatefromthecenterofgravitytochangethemotionpatternofthenewvibratingscreen.Thestiffnessmatrixofthevibrationisolationspringwasnotzeroundert
14、hesecircumstancesthevibratingsystemhadmultipledegreesoffreedom.Mintransversewaggingwasneglectedtosimplifytheresearch.Themotionwasconsideredtobealinearvibrationofarigidbeaminthelongitudinallysymmetricalplane.Ateachpointth
