3、teelmakingslagalsoknownasLDSlagduetoitsnonunifmnaturemetalliccontentwasneversuccessfullyutilizedincementmakingwasmostlydumped.Recentlynewtechnologyhasbeendevelopedfprocessingsteelslags.JSWSteelwithitsuniqueLDslaggranulat

4、ionfacilityhasdevelopedanewproductgranulatedsteelslaghavingfavablephysicalchemicalproperties.Detailedstudieshavebeencarriedouttoevaluatetheuseofgranulatedsteelslagatvariousstagesincementmanufacturing.Thepreparedcementble

5、ndswerestudiedftheirperfmanceacteristicssuchasconsistencysettingtimecompressivestrengthdevelopmentsoundness.Basedonthesestudiesitisconcludedthatupto5%granulatedsteelslagcanbeusedasperfmanceimproverupto40%byweightcanbeadd

6、edduringclinkergrindingstagetomanufacturecementblendswithcompressivestrengthscomparabletocontrolOPCPSC4.25%byweightcanbeutilizedasrawmaterialreplacingironbearingadditiveintherawmixfgoodqualityclinkerproduction.Duetothelo

7、wcosteaseofavailabilitygranulatedsteelslagcanbeagoodenvironmentalfriendlymaterialfcementindustry.iginalitySteelslagismostlydumpedbyallthesteelmakersinthewld.JSWSteelisthelargestintegratedsteelplantinIndia.Beingoneofthene

8、wsteelplantsinthewldithassomeoftheuniquefacilities.OnesuchfacilityisLDslaggranulationwhichconvertsthesteelslagintoaproduct.JSWsteelNCCBMhavewkedtogetheronutilizingthisgranulatedsteelslagatvariousstagesofcementmaking.Gran
