5、工程學理學碩士學位(航空工程)</p><p>  MSc in Mechanical Engineering (Aviation)</p><p>  機械工程學理學碩士學位(民用航空)</p><p>  課程內容緊貼香港的經濟和社會發(fā)展,考慮了《內地與香港關于建立更緊密經貿關系的安排》的實施,中國大陸加入世界貿易組織,產品開發(fā)及分析的迅速發(fā)展,環(huán)境污染所造成的

6、持續(xù)問題,以及航空工程和航空業(yè)對合資格人才的需求不斷增加等因素。課程讓學生作好準備面對這些挑戰(zhàn),并可引領大中華地區(qū),尤其是香港,發(fā)展向前。</p><p>  課程歡迎已取得其他工程學科、物理科學及數學科學士學位的人士報讀。</p><p>  憑著我們的科研和教學優(yōu)勢,課程畢業(yè)生可在多個專業(yè)范疇中充當領導角色,包括機械工程、空氣/噪音污染管理、產品開發(fā)和分析、航空工程及航空業(yè)。</

7、p><p><b>  【課程特色】</b></p><p>  課程允許學生修讀相關的技術學科,例如機械工程、空氣污染控制、噪音污染控制、產品開發(fā)及分析、航空工程、航空業(yè)、計算機學、市場營銷和企業(yè)管理等。學生亦可以組合方式修讀學科,從而獲頒具備專業(yè)主修科的學位。</p><p>  學生可根據個人意愿在每個新學期靈活改變學習模式(不適用于非本地學

8、生,原因受簽證要求限制),例如學生在一個學期以全日制模式修讀課程,其在下一個學期可轉至兼讀制,反之亦然。只要符合相關登記和評估規(guī)定,學生可按自己的學習進度完成本課程。</p><p><b>  【設施資源】</b></p><p>  所有碩士生可以享用學校資源,包括圖書館、計算機設備、實驗室等。理工大學機械工程學系擁有亞洲數一數二的產品分析中心,有大量產品設計和分

9、析軟件可以用于汽車設計,又和業(yè)界建立伙伴關系,又設有世界水平的噪音測試實驗室。理工大學的教學與研究資源充裕,確保學生有足夠支持。</p><p><b>  【入學要求】</b></p><p>  1. 具有工程、科學、科技或管理學士學位,或其它認可同等資格的畢業(yè)生及相關專業(yè)人士。</p><p>  2. 托福80分或以上;或雅思 IELT

18、<p>  Programme Aims</p><p>  This programme is pertinent to Hong Kong's current economic and social situation, namely, the CEPA with the Chinese mainland's entrance to the WTO, the rapid develo

19、pment in product development and analysis, the persistent pressure caused by environmental pollution, and the increasing need of qualified graduates in aeronautical engineering and the aviation industry. The programme pr

20、epares students to face these challenges and to take the initiative to mould the future of Greater China, including </p><p>  With these aims, we also welcome students with first degrees from other engineeri

21、ng disciplines, the physical sciences and mathematics.</p><p>  Benefiting from strong research and a commitment to quality teaching, our graduates are prepared to take up leadership roles in mechanical engi

22、neering, air/noise pollution management, product development and analysis, aeronautical engineering and the aviation industry.</p><p>  Characteristics</p><p>  This programme allows students to

23、 take subjects in related technical fields, such as mechanical engineering, air pollution control, noise pollution control, product development and analysis, aeronautical engineering, aviation, computers, marketing, mana

24、gement, etc. It also allows students to take a combination of subjects that lead to an award with a specialisation.</p><p>  Students have the flexibility to vary their studies from semester to semester acco

25、rding to their personal aspirations (except for non-local students, who are constrained by visa requirements). For example, a student can study full-time in one semester and choose to switch to part-time study in the nex

26、t semester, and vice versa. Students can manage their own pace of study, subject to certain registration and assessment regulations.</p><p>  Programme Structure</p><p>  The programme provides

27、the option for students to engage either in the full-time study mode (taking 9 credits or more per semester) or the part-time study mode (taking fewer than 9 credits per semester). In general, each subject requires a 3-h

28、our class per week over a 14-week semester. Full-time students normally take 5 subjects in a semester, and part-time students usually take 2 subjects. There are subjects offered in the daytime and in the evenings.</p&

29、gt;<p>  Students who enrol in the MSc in Mechanical Engineering programme have the option to select from a wide range of subjects offered under the Postgraduate Scheme in Engineering, and from those offered

30、by other Faculties, including Accounting, Business, Computing, Construction and Environment, Logistics and Management. They can also select combinations of subjects that allow them to graduate with a specialisation award

40、(including 3 Compulsory Subjects) in the Aviation stream, and a Dissertation pertaining to the Aviation stream; OR</p><p>  10 taught subjects, including at least 6 Core Subjects (including 3 Compulsory Subj

44、 with Honours in a relevant branch of engineering, or a related applied science discipline; OR</p><p>  Qualifications that satisfy the academic requirements for Corporate Membership of the mechan

45、ical discipline of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE), or the equivalent.</p><p>  Consideration will also be given to candidates without Honours degrees, but who have other relevant qua

46、lifications that are supplemented by appropriate work experience.</p><p>  If you are not a native speaker of English, and your Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification is awarded by institutions wh

47、ere the medium of instruction is not English, you are expected to fulfil the following minimum English language requirement:</p><p>  A Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 80 for the Inter

48、net-based test, 550 for the paper-based test, or 213 for the computer-based test; OR</p><p>  An overall Band Score of at least 6 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS); OR</p>&

49、lt;p>  A satisfactory score in Band 6 of the Chinese mainland's College English Test (CET); OR</p><p>  Other equivalent qualifications.</p><p>  Individual cases will be considered
