1、The wind load of large and light roof of gymnasiums is very complex, which even controls the design. Therefore, studying on the characteristic of the wind pressure distribution of the surfaces of gymnasiums and determini

2、ng the wind load are very important for preventing the gymnasiums from wind damage. Based on wind tunnel test and numerical simulation analysis by ADINA, thisthesis studies the wind pressure distribution and wind loa

3、d of the roof of theQingdao gymnasium. This thesis introduces the basic theory of natural wind andwind pressure distribution, and the theory of turbulence models. This thesis usesADINA software to simulate wind pressure

4、distribution of the Qingdaogymnasium, and compares the numerical simulation result with the wind tunneltest. Through wind tunnel test, wind pressure on roof of the gymnasium indifferent wind directions is measured, t

5、hen the wind pressure coefficient and thebody coefficient are worked out. With the application of ADINA, flow field aroundthe gymnasium is simulated. Before the simulation several numerical schemes areconsidered, includi

6、ng three-dimension laminar flow, three-dimension turbulentflow, finite-element method, finite volume method, and so on. Through calculating,analyzing, comparing, three-dimension turbulent flow finite-element method isado

7、pted to simulate the flow field of the gymnasium model in wind tunnel, andgraphs of wind pressure and wind speed are gained for several typical yaw windangles. The difference between numerical simulation result and wind

8、tunnel test isanalyzed in this thesis, and the law of wind pressure distribution is summarized. From the comparison, it can be concluded that the results of ADINAnumerical simulation and wind tunnel test fit well, t
