4、p and collaborating in your scholarly work. I am a professor in School of Materials Science and Engineering, Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology here in China, and my research interest is mainly on refractori
5、es. I got my Bachelor’s degree in Inorganic Non-metallic Materials in 1990 and Master’s in the same specialty in 1993 in the same university where I have been working since 1990. Afterwards, I got my Doctor’s degree in M
6、aterials Science and Engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2005. My current research focuses on refractories and high-temperature ceramic and I am proceeding with my research program. However, due to the restrict
7、ed condition in experiment, finance and limited personal experience, I would like to find an opportunity to go abroad for further study and research. Your researches are of particular interest to me, especially in corros
8、ion resistance of refractories and use of phase diagrams in studies of refractories corrosion. Your group’s research is so innovative that I believe that if given the opportunity to work under your guidance, I would be a
9、ble to share your enlightening ideas and improve my research capacity in this field, which will greatly benefit both my personal advancement and the overall development in related research in my university. All costs for
10、 my visit abroad, including accommodation, health insurance, living expenses and round-trip international air tickets, will be covered by China Scholarship Council. I would also like you to know that my proposed stay in
11、Britain lasts from September 2012 to September 2013, which is adjustable according to your schedule. After I finish my visit in Britain, I will be back to China and continue my research in the field of refractories. You
