2、the performance of plane. However, limited by complex human-computer interaction, highly integrated avionics and tedious security certification rules, the design of CDS has developed slowly during the past ten year. To s

3、olve the problem, the paper discussed a new design model of CDS,in which, ARINC Specification 661 is used. Firstly, the paper made a deep research on the new model, and proposed a total design flow for CDS, in which, CDS

4、 is layered implementation. Then, based on the research, the paper completed a CDS software development, in detail, which included the design of graphics renderer, communication interface and a core manager. In addition

5、, focused on the demand for the DF document, which is raised during the design of CDS, the paper proposed a layered structure of DF and XML language was selected to describe that. Then, the paper implemented a common pla

6、tform for the development of DF. During the implementation, a widget library, symbol designer, XML processor, constant data template library and friendly operation interface was designed respectively. Based on that, desi

7、gners can accurately, easily and efficiently design the required standardized XML DF document by the platform. Finally, in order to verify the accuracy of design method of the CDS software, the paper implemented a cockpi

8、t demonstration system based on 1553B bus. During the implementation, a CDS example, the relevant UA and the communication between them was designed respectively. And the effective functioning of the system shows the des

9、ign model discussed in the paper is feasible and it can achieve the rapid development of CDS. The practice has shown that the design of CDS based on ARINC Specification 661 has good openness and portability which can mee
